JOIN US ON THE JOURNEY: We aren’t perfect but we have navigated our own muddy waters and have come out on the other side — alive. And if you want, we could help you.

We don’t have all the answers we just know what it feels like to be searching for them alone. And we don’t want you to search alone.

You Are Here: Thanks for joining us to celebrate what God is doing in our lives. We know that taking that first step out and visiting with us was a big step. If you have any questions just go to the Visitor’s Center and they will work as hard as they can to make sure your questions are answered.

We have created a simple pathway that we want to help you along. We also know the new experiences you are having can be overwhelming. We have tried to make your next step simple. From here you have one of three choices: 1) Hide 2) Seek or 3) Find a safe place for your kids. Any of those three choices will help you take your first steps along the path.

We even have a podcast where you will find sermons from the previous weeks and discussions about who we are as a community. Don’t feel bad about doing your research. A Safe Place For Your Kids: Guiding your kids as they grow up may be the toughest thing you will ever do. And the greatest gift you can give the world. We want to see your kids own their faith by helping you become their guides without losing your mind.

That’s why we work to create a safe place for them and you to get connect. There are opportunities for kids from nursery through elementary school in our KidsLife and kids from Middle School through High School in our Student Community.

We will help you get your kids checked in, answer any questions you have, and help you provide the first steps of faith for your son or daughter.

There are no expectations other than eating together Your guide can help you sign up and even come along for moral support if you need, or you can sign up here for the next one.

Welcome Lunches are held in our Multi-Purpose Room right after our Worship Gathering. Hope to see you there.

Discover BCC: This is our class to dig further into the details of who we are at BCC. As you can tell we do things in a unique way here at BCC, but we come from a tradition of independent churches and have a love and dedication to understanding the scriptures. At our core we have a desire to see people follow Jesus and be empowered to fix the brokenness they see around them.

This 3-week class will help you discover why we have different speakers on stage each week, how we see membership, and what it means to get plugged in with BCC. Typically, it is offered the three weeks following our Welcome Lunch, your guide can help you get signed up or feel free to sign up on your own here.

FAQs: There are several questions we will not go in depth into on a Sunday morning in a sermon and we won’t cover in our Discover BCC classes, but you still may have questions about deeper matters. We offer classes, book clubs, Adventure Groups, etc. You can find what we are offering and all kinds of other information on BaseCamp.

And by all means, if you have a question, check in with us… you might find out that we are planning on a class for that and you could get signed up.

Find Your Place: Many times churches sound like they have the answers to all of life’s problems. When in reality we are all trying to find the answers together. We don’t have all the answers we just know what it feels like to be searching for them alone. And we don’t want you to search alone.

It’s important to us at BCC that you know where you can find community and a place to connect. The way we do that is through “missional communities.” These are communities that are dedicated to becoming a family of missionary servants. That mission might be to lead children’s ministry or worship. It might be to love empty nesters or young adults. Our hope is that BCC will have families of missionary servants in as many communities in the Miami Valley as possible. There are two types of missional communities at BCC: Home Groups and Ministry Groups.

We will discuss these specifically during the last class of Discover BCC.

Mentoring: Imagine learning to live like Jesus from someone trying to live the same way. Imagine finding love and hope and healing in a relationship that you’ve always longed to have. Would that change your life? Would that change everything?

Jesus mentored 12 young men who changed the world. He did it by spending intentional time with them to help them live life the way he lived it. We want to help you find that same relationship with someone here at BCC. We have all been mentored by someone and we have several leaders who are dedicated to help you become the sort of disciple we believe Jesus was trying to help us become.

This relationship may develop out of a Ministry Group, Home Group, an FAQ, meeting someone at a Worship Gathering, or you can contact the church office and we can help you get connected to a Huddle leader who will try to help you learn to follow Jesus the way they are following Him.
