The ongoing need for prayer and reflection, in a world filled with voices struggling to be heard, is paramount. As we cover Monday in prayer let this prompt guide you.

Please take 30 minutes out of your day to stop and cover BCC in prayer.

Here’s the prayer guide to help you pray with your family today.

Read Psalm 36 to jump start your prayer time.

Up – We just selected on birth of the United States into the world. Lest we forget that God is the one who makes all nations rise and fall, we should bend our knee to him to repent of our national sins and praise him for the blessings of our nation. Please spend a few moments in the presence of the Father talking to him about the United States.

In – We have ReGathered and had our Independence Day picnic, as we evaluate the direction God is leading us a leadership please raise up both the staff and elders as decisions are made for the development of BCC.

Out – Divisions are run amuck in our nation. One the back end of our Independence Day celebration ask God to lay on you heart who he’s asking you to love in a unique way. Is it someone of a different ethnic background than you? Is it a person sharing a different political view than you? Is it someone of a different generation than you? Remember Jesus had both a Tax Collector (Roman official) and a Zealot (Israeli radical) in his group of disciples as a way of showing us how to live together with our allegiance to the Kingdom of God, not a singular voice we with whom we agree.
