Prayer has become one of the most consistent things in our world. COVID-19 and all the unrest in our country has shown us who we should be depending. So each Monday we ask that you pause for just a moment, cover BCC in prayer, and seek God’s glory.

Please take 30 minutes out of your day to stop and cover BCC in prayer.

Here’s the prayer guide to help you pray with your family today.

Read Psalm 77 to jump start your prayer time.

Up – God cares about us more than we do. That may be an unsettling thought, but as you reflect, you know it’s true. First take a moment and thank him for caring for you and the world you live so much. Next praise him for all the glory he’s put into the world as a way of reminding us (maybe use some worship music to help you), and lastly, be quiet for a moment and just feel the love Jesus has for you (be quiet as long as you need to, to feel that love).

In – Over the next few weeks we are going to roll out some “newish” things that are ways for us to stay connected and still be healthy and safe. Pray that God would help the staff and elders organize and be patient with this new emphasis, and pray that God would move our people to join us and stay connected as a family.

Out – The further we get into the election of president it feels like we are being torn further apart as a country. People are asking us to take sides and criticizing us if it isn’t their side. Ask God to come against the evil powers that want divide us from all directions. Don’t believe one party or group of people is the cause, it’s the powers and principalities of this dark world. Ask God to be out light and shine so we can see what is hidden, even if that makes us change our minds about who to vote for this year.
