As we are becoming a church that prays together we find ourselves facing escalating fear and injustice, prayer becomes our lifeline. As we cover Monday in prayer let this prompt guide you.

Please take 30 minutes out of your day to stop and cover BCC in prayer.

Here’s the prayer guide to help you pray with your family today.

Read Psalm 101 to jump start your prayer time.

Up – It may be hard to see how God is at work right now. But as people who believe he is present and at work in the world we want to keep our eyes open. Take a moment, praise God for his love and justice,  then ask him to reveal to you where he wants you to notice the work he’s doing that is hard for you to see.

In – We are on the verge of ReGathering, details are being planned and we are anticipating seeing our brothers and sisters in worship. Pray for those details, pray for God to guide our plans, pray for people to make wise choices in attending, pray about how you can help. Pray that we find unity in our ReGathering.

Out – As division and unrest continue to dominate our national story ask God to show you how you can be the solution for people. Ask him to open up your heart, ask him show you how to educate yourself better, ask him to point you toward the scriptures that will reveal love to you, ask him who you need to spend some time with and hear their story. Then step out and do those things.
