We want to be a church that prays. One of the first steps toward that goal is covering a day each week in prayer. We have decided to cover BCC in prayer all day Monday.

We are asking everyone to take 30 minutes out fo their day to stop and cover BCC in prayer.

Here’s a prayer guide to help you pray with your family today.

Read Psalm 91 to jump start your prayer time.

Up – We have been working through a series on practices to help us focus on God on the every day journey with him. This week we learned about forgiveness. The forgiveness of God is like a spring…It will never run dry. Ask the Lord to overwhelm you with his loving forgiveness. Take a few moments to thank Him for His never-ending mercy.

In – We will forgive one another in the same way that we believe our Heavenly Father has forgiven us. Who do you need to forgive today? Is there anyone at BCC that you need to pray for by name, call, say you’re sorry or extend forgiveness to? Division is Satan’s sand box. If you’re experiencing division then ask the Lord of forgiveness to fill your heart with His grace and mercy so that you might extend forgiveness to those who may have hurt you, disappointed you or overlooked you.

Out – Pray that our church can be a conduit of God’s forgiveness. Pray that we can be a light for those experiencing darkness. Pray that we will remain faithful to proclaiming the Gospel to the lost, the hurting, the broken, the sinner, and the outcast.
