Because church doesn’t just happen on Sundays…

We believe a small community is the best environment to connect and experience the kind of life Jesus has called us to, a life of both belonging and purpose. Home groups provide connections that are hard to build in larger Sunday gatherings. They provide believers the ability to function fruitfully in discipleship and mission the way the early Church did. As people follow Jesus and live on mission, new needs are discovered, new connections are made, and new groups can form.

What defines a home group?

• A Home Group is a smaller group of people, about the size of an extended family, who are united through Christian community to love and serve the Lord, each other, and the world around them.

• A home group is like a family! They eat together, study God’s Word, celebrate and worship together, do service projects together, disciple one another, and pray for and support each other.

• Home groups live intentionally: They focus UP to connect with the Father, work together to grow IN the body of Christ, and reach OUT into our broken world, joining Jesus wherever He is already at work.

• Home Groups meet throughout the week with varying rhythms, depending on the group. Leaders and hosts are volunteers accountable to the BCC’s leadership.
